Abstract

| Introduction: In the following article the Collaborative Antwerp Psychiatric Research Institute (CAPRI), the research centre in medical psychology and psychiatry of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Antwerp, Belgium, presents its current research projects. Subjects and method: The team leaders were asked to present and summarize the project they had been working on. The fields in which research was conducted are: Child and Youth Psychiatry, Cognitive and Psychomotor Dysfunctions in Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder, Cognitive and Psychomotor Dysfunctions in Major Depressive Disorder, Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. Results: Results of studies that have been finished will be presented. As most projects are ongoing or in preparation, the findings will be published at a later date. This article is meant as an overview of the current projects, in order to inform other researchers and all stakeholders of our progress. |
