Abstract

As a consequence of the specific area of expertise, a gynaecologist often is confronted with sexual problems and questions. I will try to show in this paper how a doctor-non-sexologist can encourage patients with a sexual dysfunction to open up and explain their situation, and additionally, how to see their sexual difficulties as an opportunity to grow at a personal and relational level.
