Title
Musical twofoldness
Author
Abstract
The article discusses the concept of twofoldness in the understanding of the aesthetic appreciation of pictures, and the possibility of a similar twofold character in the aesthetic appreciation of music. The author explains that the concept of twofoldness plays a role in understanding the experience of musical performances as one aesthetically appreciates a musical performance while attending to both performed musical work features and the features of the token performance being listened.
