Title
L'allergie au cannabis : bien plus qu'un voyage stupéfiant
Author
Abstract
Allergy to illicit drugs and narcotics has rarely been reported in the medical literature. Nevertheless, in the past few years there appears to be a considerable increase in the prevalence of this allergy, in particular, allergy to Cannabis sativa (Indian hemp) is growing. In this review, we will discuss the current knowledge of this emerging allergy. Following a brief introduction, we describe the clinical manifestations. The second part summarizes the allergens and describes the "cannabis-fruits/vegetables" syndrome. Finally, the diagnostic approach is presented and discussed. (C) 2014 Elsevier Masson SAS.
