Nuclear collective rotations and coherent state dynamics

Abstract
Coherent state dynamics is used to study the time evolution of the quadrupole parameters and to determine the energy spectrum for the two dimensional analogue of the Elliott rotational model. The results are compared in great detail to the exact Schrödinger dynamics.
