| The article studies the role of film policy in the production of literary film adaptations in the Belgian region of Flanders from 1904 to 2002. Topics covered include a brief history of adaptation research, the categories of the government's support measures for films, the adaptation policy process for cultural films, and examples of matchmaking event that illustrates how contemporary Flemish film policy promotes adaptation projects.. |
