This paper provides the validation of an indoor ray launching propagation model for sub-1GHz frequencies. The propagation model utilises a real environment, that is being captured using a robot and a SLAM approach, in order to compute the electrical field strength. The validation approach uses the received power of 96 individual links, measured by 16 receiver locations and 6 transmitter locations, in order to compare the squared difference between the simulated ones. This results in a global accuracy of 2.8 dB and a global precision of 7.8 dB. The used simulation resolution that was used, was 23.4 cm by 7.8 cm. |
