Abstract
Results of a detailed frequency analysis on high-resolution spectroscopic observations of the Blazhko star RR Lyrae show strong evidence for the presence of nonradial modes in the star. The detection and identification of these nonradial modes is the main goal of this study, and should lead to a better understanding of the origin of the Blazhko effect. |
