Abstract

|
|
We introduce the concept of variable-rate fronthaul and provide experimental validation over PONs. Our SDN controller dynamically modifies the wireless cell bandwidth depending on load, thus varying the fronthaul rate with sub-second end-to-end reconfiguration times. |
