| On September 18th, 2006, Hans Prenen received his PhD in medical sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven, entitled “Signal transduction inhibitors for the treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumours”. His supervisor was Prof. Allan van Oosterom of the department of general medi-cal oncology and his co-supervisors were Prof. Maria Debiec-Rychter and Prof. Luc Mortelmans.Below you will find a summary of the most impor-tant findings of his research. |
