Abstract

For many proteases, highly potent and selective inhibitors are commercially available now, but researchers often keep using older aspecific compounds: an underestimated problem. Here, we refer to such a case and advocate using specific protease inhibitors at appropriate concentrations to make correct conclusions on cardiac Angiotensin metabolism and more on peptide metabolism in general. |
