Title
There’s more to Burundi than the Hutu-Tutsi divide
Author
Abstract
Burundi is often considered as a conflict-affected country where Hutu and Tutsi are opposed to each other because of past episodes of violence between them. The social reality of people in the country is much more complex than this, but it still too often read in terms of the Hutu/Tutsi divide.
