Title
Introduction : collaborating for digital transformation in the public sector
Author
Abstract
This chapter introduces the book and gives an overview of its contents. The book aims to contribute to understanding how governments move towards digital transformation and interact with others in this collaborative endeavour. It theoretically develops and empirically explores the interlinked aspects of digital transformation, intergovernmental collaboration, collaborative governance, and public sector innovation and connects literature on collaboration, and collaborative and network governance with literature about digitalization and digital transformation - and applies this to a large number of cases throughout EU countries.
