| Göran Therborn (°1941) is a sequentially neo-Marxist and post-Marxist sociologist affiliated with the universities of Cambridge, Gothenburg and Nijmegen. He has published a dozen books, both qualitative and quantitative in scope, analyzing the class structure of modern societies with an emphasis on the critical role of ideology for socially reproducing stratifications, hierarchies, hegemonic regimes and relations of dominance. |
