Conglomerates are generalized frameworks for informetric research. In this article, the h-index of a conglomerate is defined and it is shown how this construction generalizes the standard definition of the h-index. It is further shown how non-trivial constructions, such as Prathaps h-indices, fit well into a conglomerate framework. An example illustrates the use of the conglomerate framework. |
