The article reports on the development assistance for health in low-income countries. It states that increased aid for health may be required for these countries since they need to increase expenditures to meet universal coverage goals for vital health services. However, the author notes on the concern that large amounts of foreign exchange in a country could lead to an increase in inflation and loss of international competitive impact on exports and economic growth. He adds that international partners have an important role to play since more funding will allow more investment in physical and human capital |
