Abstract

| The article offers news briefs related to European Union (EU) Internet legislation. The French Commercial Court of Paris found eBay Inc. liable for infringing the selective distribution agreements and determined that it was not a mere hosting provider and cannot benefit from the liability protection adopted by the EU Ecommerce Directive. The French Council of Ministers has approved the proposal to cut off Internet users who have been found to participate in illegal P2P downloading. |
