| In this article the authors reflect on the article "Otosclerosis: Thirty-Year Follow-Up After Surgery," by Ylva Dahlin Redfors and Claes Möller. They are supportive of the research which is contained in the article and suggest that the results of the research highlight the need for genetic studies to elucidate the causes of otosclerosis. |
