Abstract

| During a recent epidemiological study of Lushoto plague focus, some uncommon specimens of fleas or even totally new species were collected. In this paper, we describe one of those, Ctenophthalmus (Ethioctenophthalmus) teucqae n. so. Microscopic observation of comparison specimens deposited at National History Museum (London) allows us to create a sub-species, C. (E.) teucqoe shumeensis n. ssp. |
